The latest notebook coming from MSI is YA.
I don’t know where its name is coming from but it looks good and you can choose from a range of four colors dot the housing.
Presented in black, green, pink and blue it covers all tastes and the price is relatively-low, of just $899.
It has a 12-inch WXGA Amazing Crystal Vision display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, a built-in 1.3MP webcam, DVD Super Multi burner, and is available for pre-orders.
The small notebook is powered by an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Mobile TK-53 processor with 1.70GHz speed, and has up to 2GB internal memory.
Then MSI added an ATI Radeon Xpress 1270 GPU, 120GB S-ATA HDD, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, Modem, 802.11b/g WLAN Card and Bluetooth support, and also a very useful 4-in-1 Card Reader for SD/MMC/MS/MSpro card types.
All these are running on Windows Vista Home Premium OS.
The security of your stored data is been taking care by the Finger Print Reader technology.
Also, you can choose a battery type between a Li-Ion 4-cell or 8-cell.
The device is measuring 303X 231.5X 16-29.5mm and weights 4.8 lbs and together with the MSI YA you get a carry bag too, but you order it before the end of this year, MSI gives you the MSI Mega Player 536, an 8GB MP3 player with integrated FM tuner, and an SD memory card slot.
